Wabi Woodistry began with a simple belief: that beauty doesn't need to be perfect to be worth keeping.
We work out of a small space on an ordinary street — no gallery front, no showroom gloss. Just a door anyone can knock on, and a workshop where you can see exactly how your piece comes together.
Every piece we make starts as reclaimed wood — material with a past, a little wear, a few marks that tell you it's lived a life before this one. We don't sand that history away. We build with it.

Wabi (侘) comes from the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi — finding beauty in simplicity, imperfection, and the quietly unfinished. Woodistry is our own word: wood and artistry, together.
It's the idea behind everything we build — furniture that's honest about what it's made of, asymmetry that feels intentional, and character instead of flawlessness.
Each piece is made by hand, one at a time — no two exactly alike. From selecting reclaimed material to the final finish, every step is done with intention, not mass production.
